Double Page Part 2

After adding Photos and editing the title I decided to change this idea as I thought there would be better layouts that would look more effective and fit the conventions of a rock n roll magazine better.

Double page Part 1

In this lesson I chose a font and added it to my double page:

I then added the text and background image making it half complete.

Rock of Ages Plan

From doing this task I learnt exactly how much I need to write out for my article and How many pictures I need to use. It will also help me out a lot when making my magazine as I wont be going in blind.

Rate Card

This is my finished Rate Card. From doing this I learnt a clear understanding of what I want my target audience is. This is important as it will greatly help me direct my magazines content at them. consequences in a well produced magazine with high selling figures.

Logo Design

From this task I learnt what logo I wanted to use for my magazine and what fonts do and don't look good.

This is the font I decided to go with. It is Retro and Classic Rock n Roll and will suit the style and layout of my magazine. It matches the genre as it is a common font that was used during the 80's, a time period where rock n roll was mainstream. Incidentally this makes it match the genre very well.

Flat Plan

From doing this I learnt exactly what I want in my magazine and how I am going to lay it out. It also gave me an idea of how long my magazine is going to be.
